Talking Tortoise’s First Time Exhibiting at The Land, Leisure, and Tourism Show

At Talking Tortoise, we’re all about taking a steady approach to marketing. Just like the tortoise in the famous fable, we know that success isn’t about rushing to the finish line– it’s about taking the right steps at the right time. That’s why this year, after attending The Land, Leisure, and Tourism Show at the NEC as visitors for a couple of years, we made the leap and exhibited for the first time.  

A Big Leap for Talking Tortoise 

The Land, Leisure, and Tourism Show is the UK’s largest event for rural businesses, holiday parks, and leisure industries. It brings together a mix of industries eager to find new opportunities and improve their existing offerings. We were excited to join this thriving community, share our expertise, and be inspired by others.  

For us, exhibiting was an exciting milestone. We may be the tortoises of the marketing world, but that’s what makes us different– we take our time, listen, and work strategically to help our clients succeed. Our approach isn’t about speed– it’s about making smart, thoughtful decisions that lead to long-lasting results.  

Our Stand: A True Reflection of Talking Tortoise 

When designing our stand for the show, we aimed to make a bold visual statement that stayed true to our brand’s identity. We wanted to showcase who we are, what we do, and the passion behind our business, all while reflecting our steady and strategic approach.

Thanks to the amazing team at Exhibition Equipment UK Ltd, our stand came together effortlessly. We arrived with just our bags and brains, and everything was set up already perfectly. It was a surreal and exciting moment to see our vision come to life without a hitch. Special thanks to Sharon, Greg, and the rest of the team at Exhibition Equipment UK Ltd for their exceptional support.

A special shoutout also goes to Deann Rooke at ZEST! GRAPHICS LIMITED for bringing our stand to life with some seriously popping graphics. The design truly captured the essence of what we do– vibrant, dynamic, and full of energy– while maintaining our brand identity. 

Our messaging was central to our stand. It highlighted how we help businesses achieve growth through improved reputation, increased footfall, and smart diversification. We wanted to clearly communicate how our tools and strategies empower businesses to succeed. 

In addition to the engaging design and messaging, we ran a competition to win a £2000 consultation with us, which added even more excitement to the mix. We’re thrilled to announce that the winner has been contacted, and we look forward to working with them in the new year. 

We’re so grateful to have an incredible network of talented people who make events like this possible.

Exhibiting at this event was a fantastic way for us as a team to strengthen existing partnerships and create new ones. We connected with a range of businesses and new partners who share our values and vision, and we’re excited to collaborate with them in the future.
