A popular Northamptonshire farm park is inviting guests to make magical festive memories at its immersive walk-through Christmas experience. Mini Meadows Farm, located in Welford, has been providing guests with unforgettable memories and magical moments with their enchanting Christmas experience since 2019, but this year the farm is unveiling ‘The Magical Christmas Journey’ featuring a brand-new show and immersive elements.
Based on the success of previous years, tickets for peak days sold out immediately upon release in June. The attraction is popular with local residents but has also been visited by a number of popular figures including none other than influencer Molly Mae, who visited the attraction in both December 2023 and 2024.
Developed by the farm’s brand-new full time creative team, ‘The Magical Christmas Journey’ is the second step in an ambitious multi-year plan to transform the farm’s seasonal events with richer storytelling, improved theming and a truly immersive atmosphere. Earlier this year, the attraction launched a brand new Halloween experience leading to record breaking Halloween time attendance at the farm.
The Magical Christmas Journey offers a whimsical adventure to find Santa Claus on an immersive trip to the North Pole. Visitors can enjoy walking through a brand-new Christmas town and they can indulge their sweet tooth with a variety of treats from the new ‘Sugarplum and Sprinkles’ bakery. Older guests can enjoy mulled wine from the new ‘Giggling Elf’ pub before seeing the new bookshop, florist and dressmakers within the Christmas town.
The one-hour walk-through adventure sees guests write heartfelt letters to Santa before joining the elves in crafting a special blend of mystical reindeer food, perfect for sprinkling on the garden lawn on Christmas Eve to attract Rudolph and his friends.
The highlight of any visit will undoubtedly be meeting Santa Claus who makes a spectacular entry to his cozy workshop and guests can capture the moment with a joyful ‘Elfie’ for the whole family to treasure for years to come.
After meeting Santa Claus, guests continue their adventure in Santa’s toy shop, where children can select that perfect early Christmas present.
Tickets for ‘The Magical Christmas Journey’ not only grants entry into this festive walk-through adventure but also provides all-day access to the farm park, outdoor play areas, sandpit, and café. For those attending later sessions, the indoor areas will remain open until the last admission of the day.
