A popular former teacher at The Chase in Malvern has left the teaching profession to set up his own First Aid training company. Having spent five years delivering A-level and GCSE History lessons to students, Paul Berthold took the plunge into self-employment and founded his own company, Red Turtle Training.

In addition to providing first aid courses designed for responding to emergency situations in the workplace, Paul also has experience in delivering first aid training courses to more bespoke environments including equestrian centers and zoos.

Paul was also responsible for overseeing the co-ordination of educational visits during his time at Stratford High, and also offers bespoke consultancy in relation to Health and Safety requirements for school trips, while also providing schools with the option of embedding scuba diving sessions and trips into their extra-curricular offering.

‘’My experience in education taught me that first aid saves lives. I find it incredibly rewarding delivering courses that teach life-saving skills.”
