A popular children’s character is set to appear at a leading Worcestershire tourist attraction next month. CBeebies star Bluey is the hottest character on the planet right now and since launching in 2018 the animated Bluey TV series has become one of the most watched TV programmes across the globe.
Bluey will be visiting Spetchley Park Gardens on Saturday 2nd September, the final weekend of this year’s school summer holidays. The gardens are a largely unaltered 30-acre Victorian paradise on the edge of Worcester. The garden collection boasts an enviable collection of plant treasures from every corner of the globe including one of the finest and biggest private collections of peonies.
Operations manager, Sarah Bird said: “We’re so excited to be welcoming Bluey to Spetchley. The initial reaction to the news has been out of this world and the character’s popularity is unquestionable. We’re delighted that she will be appearing at intervals for selfies with her fans and we hope that visitors will also enjoy our spectacular gardens as we enjoy the final blooms of summer.’’
