We are excited to be exhibiting at the Farm Retail Association Conference in Harrogate, taking place from Tuesday 10th to Thursday 12th March. It is one of the most important dates in the calendar for farm retail businesses across the UK.
The conference brings together farm shops, PYO operators and rural retailers to share ideas, inspiration and practical insight. We are looking forward to meeting delegates on our stand to talk about creative storytelling, media coverage and building stronger connections with customers.
Shortlisted for Associate Member of the Year
We are also incredibly proud to share that Talking Tortoise has been shortlisted for Farm Retail Association Associate Member of the Year. Being recognised alongside so many brilliant businesses we admire means a great deal to our team and reflects the results our clients are achieving through thoughtful, strategic storytelling.
Sharing real results on stage
Our Commercial Director, Martin Blyth-Sweetingham, will also be hosting a workshop at the conference alongside Richard Baldwyn from Lower Clopton Farm Shop. Together, they will explore how creative storytelling can directly drive commercial results.
Talking Tortoise worked closely with Lower Clopton Farm Shop to reshape how their story was told online and in the media, helping them achieve a 57 percent increase in Christmas orders and a record breaking PYO season. The session will look at what worked, why it worked and how other farm retailers can apply the same principles to their own businesses.
